MVZ: Hannibal Carriage

Hannibal Carriage

Horse-drawn carriage “Hannibal” of the Linz-Budweis railway (1920 replica of 1841 design). Seated 11 passengers, self-acting articulated axles for very narrow track radii, coach boxes on both sides to avoid turning the vehicle around. Not much faster than coaches without railways but much safer and more comfortable.
